Pastry Chef Natalie Chavez has been honing her craft over the last 20 years. She discovered her passion for food in high school, and would frequently bake sweets for her friends. While attending culinary school, she started her career at The St. Regis Hotel & Resort in Dana Point, CA. It was there that she realized she wanted to focus on the sweeter side of food, and transferred into the Pastry kitchen. A whole new world of possibilities was then opened to her and she was hooked! It was there that she learned how to make all sorts of sweet indulgences, including chocolate sculptures, tarts, petit fours, and most importantly cakes!!! Sweet as Love was soon born, and she’s been delighting clients ever since. Her passion and talent is designing and creating stylish, unique, and contemporary cakes. Each cake is hand crafted, using only the finest ingredients to ensure a quality product. You can guarantee your guests will be awed by her delicious creations!
